Traditional cooling methods for industrial circulating water
A large amount of heat is produced in the production process of industrial field, which needs to be cooled by circulating water cooling system. The traditional cooling method is open circle water cooling tower.
Problems with traditional cooling methods
● High water consumption (1.5%~1.8% of circulating water), serious waste of water resources, non-conformity with environmental policy;
● High operating water consumption and sewage treatment cost, poor economy;
● Winter operation produces a large number of white fog, become the carrier of haze,  and  “culprit “ of the Haze;
● Winter white fog forms snow, frost microclimate, resulting in safety risks.

With the tightening of environmental protection policies, traditional circulating water cooling methods will be replaced. Shuangliang’s energy-saving, water-saving and mist-eliminating industrial circulating water system aims to achieve the dual benefits of environmental protection and economy.

1.     Mist spray dry cooling tower for circulating water

System composition:
The spray dry cooling system is composed of stainless steel tube radiator, louver, circulating water system, expansion water tank, spray cooling system, fan group and so on. The air cooling radiator is arranged vertically outside the tower, which depends on the air to cool the circulating water, but when the ambient temperature is high, water spray on the outer surface of the radiator is used to assist the cooling.
Main Features:
01/ Low water consumption
In the whole year, only in summer high temperature  with short time spray cooling will apply, the annual water saving rate is more than 95%.
02/ Maintenance convenience
The radiator is arranged vertically outside the tower, which is only composed of air cooling radiator, fan system and closed circulating water pipeline system. The maintenance equipment is less, and there is no need for spray water quality management. The operation and maintenance is simple and convenient with less the operation and maintenance cost .
03/ Low operating cost of circulating water system
The circulating water system is a closed system with low lift and low power consumption.
04/ Double Process Reverse Cross Flow Structure
The design of double flow reverse cross flow structure makes the total heat transfer coefficient of air cooling radiator higher than that of single flow cross flow arrangement, and the total heat transfer area can be reduced by about 20%.
05/ Back-to-back arrangement, small footprint
One side air inlet and back-to-back arrangement are adopted to reduce the area, and the influence of hot air reflux is small.
06/ Applicability
Suitable for high effluent temperature (above 38℃) of circulating water.
 
2.     V-type separated water saving and plume-abatement system

System composition:
V separate water-saving and fog-removing system consists of finned tube bundle, circulating water pipeline and fan group. V air cooler and mechanical ventilation water cooling tower are arranged independently and connected by circulating water pipe. The circulating water in winter is cooled only by V type air cooler, no water vapor evaporates; the circulating water in spring and autumn is cooled first by V type air cooler, then cooled by mechanical ventilation water cooling tower, and the amount of water vapor evaporates is less; the water cooling tower with mechanical ventilation is used in summer time with high temperature.

The circulating water is cooled only by the V type air cooler in winter, without evaporation of water vapor; the circulating water in spring and autumn is cooled by the V type air cooler, the cooling load of the mechanical ventilation water cooling tower is partial, the water consumption is low, and the annual water saving rate reaches 60%.
04/ Antifreeze property
Adopt special anti-freezing design, winter operation does not need to set blinds, anti-freezing safe and reliable.
05/ Separate layout
The V type air cooler is arranged independently from the mechanical ventilation water cooling tower. According to the characteristics of the site, all available space and flexible arrangement can be made. If the area is tight, the V type air cooler can be arranged overhead on the road.
06/ Applicability
Suitable for water saving transformation of water cooling tower.
 
3.     Dry-wet water-saving &plume -abatement cooling tower

The anti-fogging device of dry-wet combined anti-fogging cooling tower is mainly composed of heat transfer element in dry-cooled section, heat transfer element in wet-cooled section, electric shutter in dry-cooled section, electric shutter in wet-cooled section and pipeline.
The circulating water enters the dry cooling section heat exchanger element to cool and then enters the wet cooling section spray layer to be cooled by spraying.
 
Open circle dry-wet water-saving &plume -abatement cooling tower
System composition: 
The open dry-wet combined water-saving &plume abatement cooling tower consists of air -cooled section finned tube bundle, dry-cooled section shutters, wet-cooled section fillers, nozzles, wet-cooled section shutters, pipes, fan groups, etc. The circulating water enters the dry cooling section heat transfer tube bundle and then enters the wet cooling section spray layer spray cooling.

Main features: 
01/ Flexible layout
The wet cooling section is arranged according to the conventional arrangement of the mechanical cooling tower, and the heat transfer tube bundle of the dry cooling section is arranged on both sides of the tower body (outside the tower body), which is simple and flexible.
02/ Strong ability to save water and eliminate fog
The heat transfer tube bundle of dry cooling section adopts high efficiency fin tubes, which is arranged on both sides of the tower body and can be expanded by height and arrangement type adjustment.
03/ Low fan power
The finned tube is parallel to the air side of the wet cooling section, the ventilation resistance is small, the air resistance is not increased compared with the conventional water cooling tower, and the fan power is not increased. Compared with the condensing module type fogging tower, the fan power is 30% lower.
04/ Maintenance convenience
The dry cooling tube bundle is arranged vertically on both sides of the tower, and the maintenance platform of the dry cooling tube bundle is set up on the tower to facilitate daily maintenance.
The dirt on the outer surface of finned tube can be cleaned by high pressure water. According to our cleaning test and practical engineering experience, cleaning under 5~6 MPa pressure can restore the cleanliness of the radiator to the factory state and will not cause damage to the radiator.
05/ Reliable winter anti-freezing measures
The finned tube bundle adopts three-stage anti-freezing protection. The mature anti-freezing control strategy of fan frequency reduction, shutters closing and drain protection can ensure that the finned tube is not frozen. After the shutters in the wet and cold section are closed in winter, the environmental cold air will not enter the tower, thus avoiding the packing freezing.

Closed circuit dry-wet water-saving cooling tower
System composition: 
The closed dry-wet water-saving cooling tower consists of finned tube bundle of dry cold section, shutters of dry cold section, evaporative cooling coil, spray system, shutter of evaporative section, pipeline, fan group and so on. The circulating water is cooled in the heat transfer tube bundle of the dry cooling section and then further cooled in the evaporative cooling coil. The external surface of the evaporative cooling coil is sprayed with an independent spray system to cool the circulating water.

Main features:
01/ Flexible layout
The heat transfer tube bundle in the dry cooling section is arranged on both sides of the upper side of the tower body (outside the tower body), which can be expanded by adjusting the height and layout type, and is suitable for the design requirements of different dry cooling points.
02/ High water saving rate
When ambient temperature is above design temperature of dry cooling point and  the outlet temperature is higher than the limited temperature, the evaporative cooling coil is sprayed. When the ambient temperature is below design dry cooling point temperature, there is no need to spray water. The dry and wet sections are dry air cooling, no water consumption, and the annual water saving rate is more than 75%.
03/ Low fan power
The finned tube is parallel to the air side of the wet cooling section, the ventilation resistance is small, the air resistance is not increased compared with the conventional water cooling tower, and the fan power is not increased. Compared with condensing modular fogging tower, fan power is 30% lower.
04/ Maintenance convenience
The dry cooling tube bundle is arranged vertically on both sides of the tower, and the maintenance platform of the dry cooling tube bundle is set up on the tower to facilitate daily maintenance.
05/ Reliable winter anti-freezing measures
The finned tube bundle adopts three-stage anti-freezing protection, which can ensure that the fin tube does not freeze through the mature anti-freezing control strategy of fan frequency reduction, closing shutter and drain protection. Winter evaporative cooling coil does not need spray cooling to avoid ice outside the coil in winter.
